Bluetooth for Cell Phone

I remain unsure as to whether I am buying a Limited or an Overland. Question...I was looking at the book last night and it is unclear whether or not "Bluetooth" cellphone calling is standard.

Does anybody know?

Also...is the two package standard on the Overland?

Yes, Bluetooth calling is standard on the limited and overlands.

Tow package is only standard if you opt for the V8. Otherwise it has to be added to the V6.

I have the 730n, which has Bluetooth. I believe the 430n does too, but will defer to someone who can confirm.

However, as far as the tow package: It is standard on the 4x4 Overland, but an option on the 4x2 Limited and Overland... and 4x4 Limited.

Hope that helps!

Bluetooth is standard on the limiteds with the standard 430N. Towing is standard with the V8 only it is not included on any model regardless of 4X4 or 4X2 configurations.

Jeep2011...
Iím sorry, but I beg to differ. First, Iím driving an Overland V6 that came with the tow package as standard. And I have another Overland on order where the tow package is standard.

If you go to the Jeep site, you can build out an Overland 4x4 (regardless of engine)Ö and the tow package is included. But a Limited or Overland in 4x2 or a Limited in 4x4 (regardless of engine) have the tow package as an option.

And so in hoping I wasnít completely off my rockerÖ I checked some dealer inventory, and that rings true as well.

Re: Bluetooth for Cell Phone

On Jeep's site it shows the towing package is available on all models. Jeep's site does not show towing standard on any model. Nor does it show on the build sheet when you build a overland 4x4...click the details on your 4x4 order nowhere does it show on the site a towing package......Also Wk2jeeps standard equipment page http://www.wk2jeeps.com/2011_standard.htm

Not saying it couldn't be included but no where on the websites does it show it is included with the 4x4 overlands.

Also regardless of model when you add the V8 you get towing with that package. You can upgrade to the Class IV group as an option on all models.

Re: Bluetooth for Cell Phone

Okay...
I'm going to admit some funky stuff here. And the Jeep site is at it again!!!

Jeep2011: Sorry, but it does appear now that a tow package is part of both a V6 or V8 build on the Jeep website. It's not "standard" per se, but you only have the option between the trailer tow group and trailer tow group IV. The semantics of whether something is optional or standard if you have no choice but you still have to pay extra for it is interesting.

The trailer tow group is still standard on the 4x4 Overland regardless of engine. You can see this if you change the GVW Rating when building out an Overland. It's also the only one where the base MSRP covers the cost of the trailer tow package.

Re: Bluetooth for Cell Phone

They do have some work to do on the site. I am do not doubt that it might be standard on the overland 4x4 there is not no documentation that shows it.

They did do a major update to the site today as well. It looks much better!

Re: Bluetooth for Cell Phone

I have to support BEERnALE here about the Overland having standard tow group with either engine. Both the Jeep.com and Jeep.ca build sites are not always the most up-to-date or accurate as far as the options and standard features go (only so much fits into those compact pages). But get a dealer to print you a full listing of the standard features for an Overland, even with V6, and the tow group (5,000lb rating in this case) is included.
