Break pedal feel

Shortly after I had the brake booster recall done it seems the brake pedal has more travel in it now. It's not something I'm really sure about though because I have a new 200 and that has a brake pedal with little travel. So I don't know if that's why I notice it now in the jeep or not. I just wanted to hear what others think about this and How adding that shield in the recall could have caused it?

Re: Break pedal feel

I recently had the shield installed and I didn't notice any difference in the pedal travel.

In my case, when I first picked up my Jeep it had "normal" pedal travel. It would stay soft, even after being turned off for 3+ days; push the pedal down to start the jeep and it always moved a lot. Then at some point it started getting worse and worse. Eventually a two hour off period would make the break so hard I could barely move it while pressing it down for starting. It would always move OK when on. Once I got the recall done, the replaced the booster and it went back down to normal.

Unless you're noticing a huge different in travel while the engine is running? Did they replace the booster while doing the recall?
