Jeep just called me back from my inquiry to them a few days ago. They said that the factory is building at capacity, my jeep was supposed to be built this month, but it hasn't started production yet. They said maybe it will be built next month. I asked if they are at capacity, why aren't they building early orders like mine rather than orders that have come in the last month, and she said maybe it has to do with dealer allocation. I said dealer allocation should factor into cars being built for the lot, but it isn't fair to customers who have orders. She didn't have much else to add. This is my first experience buying a car from Chrysler, and I'm not the least bit surprised they went bankrupt. It is clearly run by a bunch of morons. I'm putting the snow tires on my current car when I get home, since it looks like I will have it for much of the winter.
Two more months and I will be able to get my deposit money back from the dealer!
