Agreed lol....all the parking meters around here are now plastic munching machines, so why collect change, no coin operated tolls around either. I guess the only need I can see is a handful for the guy tailgating you on the freeway

I've never used a car's CD player before, but I have used the coin holder. I now have a smart card for the parking meters around here, and I'm looking into purchasing an I-Pass out of Illinois for when I do travel on tollways, so I soon won't have much of a need to put coins anywhere.

Now I feel like I live in a third world country...parking meters are manually coin operated!

Re: Buy A 2014 - Deal Breaker Question.......

You can go to KFC and get something with a single side item (cole slaw, mashed potatoes, etc.) and they now come in a short flat reusable container.....perfect for holding coins. I already have my Gladware mini round but would use one of the KFC containers.

Re: Buy A 2014 - Deal Breaker Question.......

I used to use change all of the time for lunch, because it was handy in my WK. Now with my WK2 for a year and 4 months and I have a nice amount of change in a drawer at work and in a drawer at home. I was using the cup holder but it got a little ridiculous how much change I had at one point in there.

Re: Buy A 2014 - Deal Breaker Question.......

There should be a way to move the CD player to the glove box and run the wiring from the center console to it.

Does anyone actually carry coins anymore in this age of EZPass?

I though that was a Lifesaver holder.

Necco Wafers fit nicely in the quarter slot. I'll miss that!

Re: Buy A 2014 - Deal Breaker Question.......

You mean you guys didn't purchase the $3,000 dollar coin holder option?

I just throw it in the center console if I need to use both cup holders, but most of the time I dont.

The coin holder can be picked up at Advance Auto Parts for under 5 dollars.
