Question Buying warranty for used Wk?

I've been looking at some used WK2S (2013 - 2015). I seem to recall reading that it was possible to add the jeep service plans up to a certain number of miles/months, but I couldn't find anything on jeep.com. is this possible? I'd like to be able to look into adding one of the plans for some peace of mind since I tend to keep my cars a while.

Re: Buying warranty for used Wk?

The Mopar MaxCare Extended Service Plans can be added to a JGC that's purchased used as long as they are within a certain number of months/miles of originally going into service. I believe that it has to be within 48 months of original in-service but I don't recall the mileage factor. They also are pegged to the original in-service date when it comes to the coverage, so you'll be better off buying a later model year vehicle than you will be buying an older model year. If you go to the Ziegler site, you can play with the calculations to see what's available and what the cost would be.

Thanks. I found the Zeigler site and the info I was looking for. I was most interested to find out if it would be still possible to get a service plan for a 2013 with low miles. Looks like it is.
