Re: Cabin Air Filter Woes

This is the carbon filter that I put in my GC. Since it has a cardboard frame it was a bit stiff to get in the space, but it does fit snugly. I will let you know how it performs in a week or so.

( I am talking about the FILTER!)

perfect "that's what she said" opportunity. lol - thanks for the update! so maybe ordering a hair smaller on the L and W dimensions would be good. Perhaps the .4375 option. 9.4375 x 10.4375 x 1.25 what do you think?

btw the link to the site for custom filters in your first post is gone for some reason

The filter itself is the perfect size for the space. What I meant was that installing it requires you to bend it a little Has you maneuver it into the space It's not a straight-in install. The OEM filter is paper and can be easily bent.

Hope this clarifies it

After a week of having the carbon filter installed I can tell a definite improvement in air quality. However it is still not 100% effective. I think a filter that had a thicker layer of activated carbon would work alittle better.

Still it is better than the paper filter that came with the car.

Could you post the web link where you get the filter. Is missing in your first email

Re: Cabin Air Filter Woes

I have one filter left from the original 6 that I purchased, if anyone wants to try one. It's $25 via Paypal. Message me if interested. Thanks.
