Calling all 2011 JGC HEMI owners!

TSB 21-004-10 (tranny shudder issue) has anyone gotten this flash? Apparently my truck (built 4/2011) doesn't qualify. Is there an new TSB for this issue for the "newer" JGCs???

I've only had recall work done. I've felt some strange behavior in my jeep but it's always inconsistent so I simply don't worry about it.

I didn't notice it until I hit 30k miles....I just assumed I need to spark plugs changed. Got those changed...no difference. Now I feel it everytime I drive. On my next oil change, I will give my dealership one more time to address it....if they fail, I going to another dealership for my services.

Heh, we just traded in our 2011 GC Summit for a 2015 Overland Diesel and one of the reasons I was glad we got rid of it was the shudder in the transmission when going up a hill near our house at ~50MPH. If you were light on the throttle it would shudder / slightly buck. Irritated the heck out of me and I didn't trust the dealership to be able to repair it as their first answer was to replace the transmission. (Going from past experience with them I didn't want them disassembling our new vehicle that far)

Anyway, interesting that they come out with this now as it never seemed to cause an issue during the 46K miles we put on it. Other than the irritation it never threw any codes or was weird outside of that 45-55MPH speed with a light load.

Yup got the flash done. It still shudders from time to time. I have learned not to make it shudder. This has been a 545rfe problem forever going back to the '01 545rfe's. All of the jeeps i have driven from an '01 4.7l WJ '03 4.7l WJ '05 4.7l WK to my '11 5.7l WK2 shudder at roughly the same point. I don't think it's an indication of the reliability of the tranny just a quirk it has. All the 4.7l have over 150k with the '03 at 250k.
