Re: Calling all WK2 Drivers for help!

Where did you hear that the 430 update came out? I heard it won't be out until the end of March?

As far as the 430N vs the 730N, I think people are making WAY too much of this. Any of them will do the basic funtions; PLay music, tell you where to go, leet you load your own music... This is a car (OK SUV) not an entertament system.
The Dealer is offering $16,000, I owe about $5,000, so around $11,000 is what's at stake...

Yes but what will he give you if its over the 68,000? My guess is that he is jsut doing that to put preasure on you (and it seems to be working - ).

Probably drop around $15,000. I guess it's a wash. The longer I wait, and make payments on my Commander and the trade-in value drops. It will still come out around $11,000 or more for my trade-in value....

I'm thinking the waiting park is what's killing me the most!

I bet. If the $$ is a wash try and wait for what you want. I am assuming you will drive it for at least a year or two so a month or so wait is a small price to pay.

Keep checking to lots!

You and I think 100% alike!!!! I think we both agreed about this in a different thread as well. I did not buy an Overland in the dead of winter for the exact same reason. Why would anyone want to subject a brand spanking new car to horrible winter conditions?
I also waited just like you no way was I going to order such an early built car I wanted a solid several months of building these things before I got mine. more or less I wanted a late built 2011. Not an early built one from 2010. At any rate I timed mine to be built and arrive in spring time so I get a good 8 months of nice weather and plenty of time to keep it all nice and shiny.

I say wait for the one you ordered. That dealership is only saying that killer deal to get your business now!! screw them you can work as good of a deal in a few weeks when your ordered Overland comes in.

Re: Calling all WK2 Drivers for help!

I would also say wait. On my last truck I wanted black, I settled for dark blue. Every time I saw a black one I wished I would have waited. A year or even two from now you will look back and wish you would have waited another couple months, hopefully less.

My iPhone 4 with OS 4.2 works great with the 430N for calling... Incoming and outgoing, including voice dialing names through UConnect... Just took a while initially to download my address book.

I'm very happy with it.

Yeah, we picked up ours last week and roads have been a mess... 3F right now, but it gives me a chance to appreciate remote start with heated wheel and seats

Better to have a WK2 in the cold and salt than no WK2!

Re: Calling all WK2 Drivers for help!

i would not care that much about the Navigation System and the Color. Thats because i do like a lot of the GC colors and both Navigation Systems are not "state of the art".
