Could I have the dealer swap for the 20" rims and tires without any issues???? The offroad II package seems just like tires and skid plates. Is there anything else I should know about??
Thanks alot guys,
It has the skid plates, tow hooks (which won't hurt you), and the 18" wheels. If you truly never intend to take the Jeep off-road, you might have the dealer take the skid plates off since they add extra weight. Then again ... I had a stone go through the oil pan of my sedan years ago and I was not off-road when it happened. Extra protection doesn't hurt
You might consider keeping the 18" wheels with the Latitude tires that come with them - they are fine for the street and are actually a more comfortable ride. But if you really want the 20" wheels and you can come to an agreement with the dealer, so much the better.
You didn't mention the color, but if it's one of the restricted colors (like Brilliant Black, Blackberry, and so forth) you should count yourself lucky to find what you want. All in all, I'd say "go for it!"
