Re: Canadian Dealer Invoice Prices??

You will still have to pay HST as well. And I think they will include the "Green Levy" fee of $1,000 on the Hemi at the border.

Re: Canadian Dealer Invoice Prices??

For me I paid $50,835 CDN in Edmonton for an Overland with QL & Hemi w/o DVD (dual roof is the only way to go) and off road adventure as I wanted the 20'' wheels. I have the hitch and all of that.

I also added extended warranty for ~1 grand to extend my bumper to bumper coverage to 5 years/100,000km. I was also able to get a Variable Open Loan @ Prime.

I'm curious what other Canadians have paid for an Overland with similar specs. I shopped around, cheapest before that was $51,800 in September.

I am from Edmonton also, I paid $55,500 CDN on delivery after taxes and everything, I ordered mine back in July. Mine was a charcoal Overland with QL & Hemi also with DVD nav, dual roof and I did get the off-road package ($500). I wanted the 20" rims originally but the dealer (Derrick Dodge) told me that I couldn't have the 20"s if I chose the off road option. So I decided to get Factory SRT8 Reps after anyways I went to Capital Jeep and they told me $57,800 so I told them to beat it.

What dealership? I want that warranty. I was quoted 3400 for 2 additional years of coverage.

I have actually been looking into importing a used 2010 Porsche GT3RS MkII from the states with 600 miles on it. I went to speak with my local dealer they quoted me $202k after taxes everything for brand new BUT only 2 - 3 of those come here about every 4 years and they're spoken for, I know the only guy with a 2010 Porsche GT3RS MkII in my city and he told me he ordered his 5 years ago..... SO the one I have found one in the states for about $139k... Huge difference? HECK YES! But besides paying to get it across the border there's also the issue of changing out the instrument clusters from miles to kilometers and also the warranty transfer issue from USA to Canada I have to look into that further as well. My friend told me to just order one from the dealer ship here brand new because after you get one from the states and get it here it'll almost be the same as buying a brand new.... I some how don't believe him so which is why I am on a mission to find out because I told myself that's my next car or nothing! JGC Overland for the winter, Porsche for the summer!

Re: Canadian Dealer Invoice Prices??

If the cluster has both MPH and km/h, and it is a "used" vehical, you DO NOT have to change the instrument cluster.
Dealers often tell you this "lie" to make you pay them for a ridiculous item you don't need to try to make it more difficult and expensive to import and you give up and buy it at a Canadian dealer and get ripped off on the price.

Re: Canadian Dealer Invoice Prices??

I have seen an ad in The Sun from Scarsview. Limited with Navigation 46k +HST(13%). MSRP is 49k. Therefore a 3K reduction from the start.

What dealership? I want to call them and get the warranty? Even if you have a guy that you were dealing with it would be great.
