This is the month that I'm gonna go shopping for a 2012 Overland V6 with just about all the options. I'm located in Ontario, just North East of Toronto and I anticipate this will come close to 54K before taxes... yes the Canadian price is a lot more than the US price... we get boned here!
I'm gonna look for a minimum of a $5000 discount before tax.
What are some of the discounts you fellow Canadian buyers got and are there any dealerships you recommend that don't try to screw you to bad?
Thanks for the input.
scarsview gives good discounts, it is located east of Toronto(middle of nowhere). I called and negotiated the price over the phone(JGC limited got 3500k discount last September when discounts were hard to get on JGC). Went and picked up the car ... I find the phone negotiation easier, if you are at the dealer, they know they have you hooked.
Ya, I see Scarsview's adds in the Sun all the time. When I bought my '96 JCG Limited I got it from Bannerman, cut a good deal but it was like pulling teeth!
I live in the GTA. When I started looking in Early August, the local dealers said that they didn't have ordering information available. They just happened to have inventory of 2011's on the lot. The best that was offered on an in stock 2011 Overland was $8k below invoice with all available rebates at Provincial Chrysler in Windsor. I gave up on GTA dealerships and ended up getting a deal at Provincial Chrysler in Windsor. Paid invoice for a 2012 Overland now on order.
PM me if you want the name of my sales rep. Honest and came up with a good deal.

Do your shopping first. I'll rack up a few more posts and then I'll PM you the contact information. We did everything over the phone. The salesperson did a previous deal with one of my wife's partners so it was a solid referral. Price and information was good.
