It's also possible that there is a problem with the door handle. If the handle thinks it is asserted (hand in there, like the water situation) it will continue to interrogate the FOB and if you are in range (3' to 4') the door could unlock. I have seen the same problem...

I had a door handle problem in my 2013 charger (same symptoms) and it was replaced and it solved the problem. I hang my keys inside the house on the other side of the wall (short distance from the car (4') and when I noticed the car trying to unlock periodically once from the spare set which resulted in a dead battery the morning after I brought it home..

Just something else to check... Good luck

No, it just activates the locks/lights with no pressure on it.

As others have said, maybe it's a too sensitive fob or a faulty door lock.
