We have these, or something comparable, in our 1994 GC. They protect all around, not just the floor, and after many years still look fairly new despite considerable use. Looks like an artificial fabric, not canvas, because it's slightly shiny.
The wife much prefers them to rubber/plastic liners, and maybe it's a guy thing but I have no problem with ruff-n-tuff rubber ones. One drawback, at least on ours, is that the wheel-well side pads are held in place by self-sticking Velcro strips. These stay in place for some months, then the stickum gives out and the pads fall loose. After resetting them several time we just gave up and let them droop. Snap-ons would be better.
