Cargo Area Courtesy Light Question

MY Overland has the 2 lights in the rear liftgate. Is it supposed to have an overhead light in the center panel at the top of the liftgate opening? Don't have any illustration to be more accurate.

Re: Cargo Area Courtesy Light Question

My Laredo does not have an overhead light, just the two in the tailgate that are under the cover when closed.

Re: Cargo Area Courtesy Light Question

Just those on the lift gate. These are best modded with an LED bulb as the better bulb will give you much better illumination for the rear cargo area.

Re: Cargo Area Courtesy Light Question

Thanks for the replys. It is a bit dark back there at night. Especially with the black interior. But I do like black interiors. LED's might be coming soon.

That's why they gave us the portable LED flash light that's kept back there. Personally, I'd have preferred an overhead light.

Re: Cargo Area Courtesy Light Question

With the cover in place, neither helps with the liftgate open. I suppose that is why the flashlight.

The LED light isn't very bright either, even with switch in high position. But I'm just nit picking. Still love the GC.
