Give up console space for some silly level which is also something to catch your clothes on? Definitely not!

Console space? It's a huge plastic void, currently. They could steal Range Rovers park brake design they have on their Evoques. It's electric and takes very little space. Nothing to snag either.

I don't think the 2015 model is going to offer anything much different.. It would be like any normal new year for manufactures, just slight additions.. For 2014 Jeep had a big refresh.. Hence all the additional features and new styling cues! At best I think the 2015 model will have a few new interior and exterior colours, upgrade software or whatever and maybe different wheels.. They will most likely introduced a Trailhawk edition.

I doubt they'll put electronic parking brake and all the other gizmos Milous stated, when the all new model is only 2 years away! So guys and gals don't hold your breath..

... However I like that every is optimistic:-).. Who knows?!?

Why would they have to steal RR's? They already have good e-brake controller in the Cherokee!

Why would you doubt an insider? Milous is in a very unique position to get generally accurate information, although he will be the first to tell you that sometimes the company changes their mind...

The electronics enhancements he mentioned are pretty much in-line with the generational additions that have transpired over the past few model years and also are consistent with many competitive moves. It would make sense to see some or all of them show up with the next model year production.

Im not at all doubting Milous and his inside knowledge, and believe me I think we all appreciate the inside news and updates he brings to the forum.. However, if you read his post he states that Chrysler are introducing these features on upcoming chrysler products.. he then goes on to say some might appear on the 2015 GC.. He didn't say all of them will..

I'm allowed to have my opinion and thats what I think, however I could be wrong. We'll just have to wait and see, thats the way it goes!

Since there is a difference between "some" and "most, if not all", I can see what Jim is saying.
