Re: Changes for 2015?

New changes to 2015 to address 2014 concerns.

o New 9 Speed transmission, 8 of which will be reliable -- giving the 8 speed experience everyone was expecting.

o Updated owners manual and literature for new "Sure Open 4 click remote hatch FOB".

o Owner complaints about sun roof being only squeak in the car have beed addressed. The doors now squeak too.

o Flipper glass returns, on the front driver side.

o Container below drivers seat now doubles as an extended sunroof drain.

o Complaints about air suspension cooling warning light addressed. Removed light.

o Documented festive "Holiday Mode" christmas tree console display easter egg.

Re: Changes for 2015?

Pez and they can take my money! I think I am going to skip the '14 model but I am keeping an eye out on the 15 or 16 models.

Re: Changes for 2015?

Actually, I heard about some possible changes:

- Rear Lights will have a solid illuminated section, similar to the new Durango:

- Electronic Shifter will also be replaced by a dial, similar to the new Durango. (which would SUCK).

I kind of believe the dial shifter part seeing that some spy shots of the new Chrysler 200 interior show the same dial that's on the Ram and Durango and with the Charger getting a face lift soon, it might switch as well. It only makes sense to use like parts and reduce cost, so why not bring over the dial as well. For me, it would suck since I like resting my hand on the shifter even tough it's an automatic.

I agree about the shift knob...the dial seems odd.

I can't see Jeep doing the racetrack light since is more so a Dodge thing of the past. Would'nt look right on the Jeep

I agree, but I do think we will finally see LED brake lights in 2015.

Actually, I just wish they'd offer the 6.4L Hemi in the Overland. They could call it the SRTrail edition.

Mee threeee!
One can never have too much grunt.
The power train controls could keep you from grenading any sensitive bits in the drivetrain, and they could use the various side and before/aft sensors to detect a real SRT in the next lane and back off a bit out of respect if they're worried about infringing on market share.
