2.4L twin turbocharged diesel
9 Speed automatic transmission
Front EDiff
Flipper glass
Oh, and it randomly shoots Pez candy at you from the front vents.
My guess is minor to nothing at all. Next major change is not to be expected until 2016. I doubt that changes between now and then will be much more than tweaks.
Maybe in 2015, the iPhone will allow text replies through Uconnect. No, on second thought, that would be a major change
Why did they remove the Flipper glass I love that feature, although it does collect a lot of dust around it(under outer area before the seal) when driven on dirt roads...
Also not keen to upgrade given the quality of the reverse camera on Australian delivered Laredo's for 2014.
I would like to see the foot operated park brake go and make way for either a hand operated model or even electric. The foot brake on RHD models is literally a pain in the leg/shin/ankle... We will have ours until 2017 now I would say, so here's hoping by then.
Wow I've done 92,000 klms in my WK2 diesel in 22 months and not hit the fuel filler button once, how close do you sit to the dash?
I'd like to see the foot parking brake go as we'll and put in a decent foot rest like my previous Prado had.
Yeah, agree with the parking brake removal. Even the new Holden Commodores have the little push/pull lever on the center console. I see that as a realistic expectation.
If they can do flipper glass what about rear glass that winds down into a tailgate?

I would love that.....to be able to open the rear while driving and not have to worry about the glass slamming down. I guess the 2014 guys don't gotta worry about that.
I kind of believe the dial shifter part seeing that some spy shots of the new Chrysler 200 interior show the same dial that's on the Ram and Durango and with the Charger getting a face lift soon, it might switch as well. It only makes sense to use like parts and reduce cost, so why not bring over the dial as well. For me, it would suck since I like resting my hand on the shifter even tough it's an automatic.
Chrysler offers the ivory tri-coat and bright white. Ivory tri-coat is an awesome color. I'm surprised Chry-Fi did not opt to add this color to the Jeep line up. Especially with Jeep swaying everything toward Luxury but keeping to its roots. Heated windshields would be nice for those nice snowy mornings... maybe they will show up as a feature on the 2017 model year in 2016.
since as mentioned above, the transmission shifter is nothing more than a switch these days...I vote they make the next transmission selector look like a manual gear box. Upper left for park, Straight back from there for regular drive. In between the two is neutral and push down from neutral and over to the hard upper left for reverse. while in drive, push over to the right for auto sport mode. from auto sport mode, push forward for electronic downshift and back for electronic up-shift. we can get rid of the stupid paddles and feel like men again! also, they should use the porsche PDK system ha!
