Re: Cherokee seats so comfy!

I can second the notion that Overland seats get more comfy with use. Mine seemed a little hard at first, but now they're just fine, even on long trips.

Mine: 2014 Overland 4x4 V6, ORA II, billet silver/black, Michelin LTX M/S 2's, MaxCare Lifetime, delivered 4-13-'13
Wife's Jeep: 2008 Compass Sport 4x4, 2.4L I4 DOHC, CVT, Lifetime powertrain warranty

Re: Cherokee seats so comfy!

So far no complaints on the Jeep seats. The firmness gives me good lumbar support. The old Mustang we had would induce a backache after anything over a half hour in them. These in the Grand Cherokee I could stay in for hours.

I hope they hold up better than the 2 La-Z-Boy recliners I just replaced. I flipped the recliner lever the other day and a bunch of springs and hardware came rolling out. More cheaply manufactured $h!t.

Re: Cherokee seats so comfy!

Keep really has done a great job on the seats from WK2 through the non mechanized seats in the KL line up. I had a 2011 Buick Regal turbo, which was made in Germany but just a rebadged Opel Insignia with fantastic seats. I thought I might see a bit more uncomfortable seat in the Jeep selections but very impressed with both my WK2 and KL seats. Great lumbar support. Previously I thought Infiniti and Lincoln had the best seats for long road trips. In the WK2 I went up and down I-95 3 times from the border of Canada to Orlando or Charleston and back. The got a bit tiring as I drive straight but like the Lincoln Town Car from 2003 and an Infiniti Q45 that I went cross country with from NY to WA or SLC to DC and back the Jeep seats are amazing for the SUV that are also amazing off road vehicles as well. Having heat to loosen up those sore gluteus muscles and the lower back support in the lumbar region make these some of the best riding comfort in the industry. I've seen both GMC and Honda seats that were nowhere near this cozy. Same for Land Rover or Nissans best.

Enjoy the cruising on the highway in your Jeep knowing that your seats are right up there with the best.
