Thank you Bogdan! We're local, and offering a flat 3% below invoice until further notice.
Our 3% is a set number below invoice with no additional fees tagged to it (aside from tax, title, license)
I'm not sure what the $189 dealer fee is from the 'other dealer', however lets breakdown an example to show exactly what the difference is from 3% to 4%
On a $35,000 invoice:
3% - $1,050 Discount
4% - $1,400 Discount
Now, like I said, I'm not 100% clear what that dealer fee is. However if it is simply just a dealer added charge, that takes your discount back to $1,211.
Not trying to get into a competition, only stating numbers in black in white. If $1XX is worth driving to a random Dealership then I completely understand, as that is your opinion.
We're local to Chicago, and I've been here for 4 years and plan to stay here as long as possible. Anyone that has worked with me can tell you that I always take care of my customers, especially forum members and referrals. That extra $1XX you spend to do business with a local vendor could result in a loaner during a service that doesn't require a loaner, a prompt reply when you get home and find a rock chip you didn't notice at delivery, or another fantastic deal 3 years from now when you're ready to trade in.
Buy from a Dealer that gives you the perfect balance of a good deal, convenience, and customer service; because if you buy for only ONE of those reasons, you didn't get the best deal you could've.
Off my soap box now, thank you again everyone who gave me the opportunity and I look forward to working with more members moving forward.
