Had it in 6 times for quadra lift issues, have a custom wiring harness from one of the QL engineers in my rig. Now this is the second time it had a massive electrical fault that prevented starting.
I've had it. Love the damn thing but this shouldn't be happening.
Did you lemon law yours or go a different route?
I believe each state has different lemon laws. Apparently, in Colorado, the lemon law only applies during the first twelve months of ownership. I had troubles with my Quadralift during the first 1000 miles. My Jeep was in the shop for just shy of six weeks for the laterst round of Quadralift troubles. As I mentioned earlier, it even failed at one point on my drive home after Chrysler flew in an engineer from Detroit to fix it. My dealership was proactive on my behalf in contacting Chrysler and they offered to buy it back...at the two year point. I have to pay a mileage charge (fair) and the difference between the new MSRP and my 2011 MSRP.
I've also had a power steering rack failure and air conditioning head unit (control panel) failure, so even though I love the Jeep, and especially my Saddle interior, I'll be happy to give it back to Chrysler. I will reiterate, I think Chrysler is being very fair to me!
