Re: Cleanest color?

White Gold should be the cleanest.

1. Stone White
2. Mineral Gray
3. Silver Metallic

Any thoughts from owners of these colors (doesn't have to be just a WK2) on which one would stay the cleanest overall?
The real question to be answered is:

How does the dirt know to be dark on a light Jeep and light on a dark Jeep?

My GC's have been red, dark blue (2), and now silver. Silver is the best.

Silver. Had a silver 04 4x4 Dakota. That thing looked clean even when it was filthy!

Re: Cleanest color?

Silver is the only one of your choices I've actually owned and it looked reasonably clean even when it wasn't.

No. I think you should come wash mine once a week.

Here in Michigan the local road commssions have started "paving" secondary roads with stone and some type of light dirt-like material. Mine was covered from a rainy day and absolutely filthy. However, from 20 ft away, it just looked like it could use a good coat of wax!

Probably paved by oil-and-chip. Much less costly than asphalt, but almost as good unless the roadbed is badly deteriorated. However, it's messy for a couple of weeks until it cures and gets settled in.

Re: Cleanest color?

IMO....any color except for black can give the look of clean IF.....and thats a little word with a BIG meaning...but IF you keep good product on your paint. I find my Inferno red Jeep extremly easy to keep "looking clean" simply by using the best paint care products I can buy. Its alos important to keep the products in good condition...ie. when you see your top coat of wax and sealant starting to fade.....reapply.
