Cleaning door panels

So i have a bad habit of kicking the bottom of the door panel when i exiting my Jeep and its leaving these dirt marks that won't just come off with a cloth and a little water. Any tips?

I have a 2014 Overland if that makes a difference. Thnx.

Re: Cleaning door panels

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will get everything off.
As a precaution try on small area first.

Spray can of Woolite seems to work pretty well on the door panels.
I use a soft toothbrush with Woolite foam for the items that foam glass cleaner can't remove.

Gotta try that magic erasor.....

Magic eraser did nothing to remove the scuff marks on my door. I know this sounds nuts but I'm trying to think through how black glossy spray paint would would work over the scuff marks.... Desperate to get the door back to black

Somebody makes black colored wax, that might be a tad less drastic than paint?

A few drops of leather dye on a soft rag?

Maybe we should trade shoes, I keep getting black marks on the tan frost interior?!

I also thought about the shoe polish route. I was hesitant because I wanted to avoid a mess and wanted something permanent. After thinking it through though I am leaning toward a very small amount of polish. If that doesn't work I'm ripping the doors off and replacing them.....I'm kidding....kind of....

Re: Cleaning door panels

I don't kick my door panels but the dealer's service mechanics do despite my reminding them to be careful not to do that. I was wondering what I could do about those scuff marks.

If you've got the black interior bills idea seems to make the most sense. I'm gonna try it tomorrow.
