Re: Coin Holder?

When I got my Volvo I was bummed there was no change holder...I ended up buying one somewhere and actually find it to be better than what was in the WK...change never falls out...though I still end up with some overflow in the cupholder!

In case anyone is still looking for an aftermarket coin holder, I found and ordered this one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/CUSTOM-ACCESSO...1153089&sr=8-2

It is a nice little unit, not overly expensive ($9.99), that just sticks on with a Velcro pad (included). I stuck mine on the inside of the lower arm rest console, driver's side, low enough down that the upper tray doesn't hit it when it closes. It is a nice fit and should work well. Not sure how long the sticky on the Velcro pad will hold up but I guess if that doesn't work I can always get out my tube of silicone and just glue it in place. For now at least I'm happy to have a coin holder.

Re: Coin Holder?

I had posted a while ago too about no coin holder....odd. My 2002 GC (and maybe earlier) had spring loaded ones if I remember correctly then the 2005 had slots molded into the side....handy at drive throughs and keep coins for occasional vacuum, air or wash too. Having some change just in case is always handy....

Thanks for the amazon link.... probably will order that.

Re: Coin Holder?

You're all kidding, right? I have used one from Ziploc, freezer weight, for the past 20 years. It moves from car to car with no mounting and is cheap to replace when it wears out. Buy them by the box at any grocer.

That's the coin holder model I've been using since I got my new Jeep. Just not quite as easy to use one handed. Plus, a vehicle this pricey should at least have a coin holder.
