Coin Holder?

Has anyone found a coin holder in the new 2011 Grand Cherokee? I can't believe they didn't build one in somewhere. My old (2002) Grand Cherokee had coin holders molded right into the front part of the console. Just open the lid and there were the coins needed for highway tolls. I can't find any such handy coin holder in the new one. If I can't find where they hid it I guess I'll have to look around for an aftermarket add on.

they need to put a decent, hidden change holder somewhere in the bottom part of the center console/armrest. maybe that is what jeep is holding back to sell the 2012's.....tacky, yeah, but it keeps me from having to pour change into the cupholder and would be easier when i came to a toll booth. i just dont like a bunch of stuff in my cupholders, i want them empty and clean. change in there messes all that up. i guess ill be buying a small change holder thingy.

In case anyone is still looking for an aftermarket coin holder, I found and ordered this one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/CUSTOM-ACCESS...PC7C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301153089&sr=8-2

It is a nice little unit, not overly expensive ($9.99), that just sticks on with a Velcro pad (included). I stuck mine on the inside of the lower arm rest console, driver's side, low enough down that the upper tray doesn't hit it when it closes. It is a nice fit and should work well. Not sure how long the sticky on the Velcro pad will hold up but I guess if that doesn't work I can always get out my tube of silicone and just glue it in place. For now at least I'm happy to have a coin holder.

I was looking for one too and was surprised they didn't have one, especially with all the room in this thing.

Maybe there is a little one in the middle armrest area with the deeper section opened. If you look all the way back (top area near the folding part) there is a little area that looks like it could fit a small handful of change.

When I got my Volvo I was bummed there was no change holder...I ended up buying one somewhere and actually find it to be better than what was in the WK...change never falls out...though I still end up with some overflow in the cupholder!

I had posted a while ago too about no coin holder....odd. My 2002 GC (and maybe earlier) had spring loaded ones if I remember correctly then the 2005 had slots molded into the side....handy at drive throughs and keep coins for occasional vacuum, air or wash too. Having some change just in case is always handy....

Thanks for the amazon link.... probably will order that.

That's the coin holder model I've been using since I got my new Jeep. Just not quite as easy to use one handed. Plus, a vehicle this pricey should at least have a coin holder.

Are you serious? That's standard on the Summit.

^^^ Coins for the carwash spray thing, vacuum, air, etc... They only take coins. A coin holder is expected. Probably will be added later....an odd thing to leave out.

I think Jeep is more forward thinking than most people think... 99.999% of the time i'm using debit cards, even to pay for the above mentioend parking meeter, pack of gum, fast food, even at starbucks, i grab my iphone 4, launch the starbucks app, hold it up to their scanner, poof, coffee paid for. Visa and Mastercard will have this app soon so you dont even need to carry your debit card. So i throw my change (if i ever have any) in my pocket then in the wife's pocketbook just to get rid of it... i know using plastic isnt for everyone but that's where technology is pushing people, thus, not needing a change holder in the Jeep.
