Color Selection

I am ready to order an Overland but still hung up on the color--Mineral Gray or Dark Charcoal. Has anyone seen both together on a lot and have an opinion over which is better. "Better" would mean more classic, likely to stand the test of time, and rich looking.

Re: Color Selection

I ordered Dark Charcoal with Black/Black interiors.
Mineral Gray color I had on my previsious GC, and I feel make me bored to buy again the same.
I was thinking:

Mineral Gray:
pro: easy keep clean
cons: old color, not pearl

Dark Charcoal:
pro: new color, Peral coat, match better the dark plastic accents, my wife like it
cons: may be not easy to keep clean
So I decided for the Dark Charcoal...

Re: Color Selection

Mineral Gray:
Pro - Looks the very best with the JGC chrome
Con - There's a LOT of grey vehicles on the road these days

Dark Charcol
Pro - Gorgeous in sunlight
Con - In low lite, not distinguishable from Black

Bottom line - you're not really going to go wrong with either choice

Re: Color Selection

If you are looking for "standing the test of time" DC is your choice. If I were getting DC I would get the frost int. To me its more classic.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The MG is a pretty color, but the lighter grays are an older color pallet and the black trim stands out to much.

Re: Color Selection

My dad is gonna get a Limited in Mineral Gray with Black interior. A very sharp, rich look. I have seen the combo in person and also on a similar BMW SUV....looks great.

To me, the black/black is a bit too much black. But you can't really go wrong. I had a dark slate gray JC a long time ago (a lot like today's Dark Charcoal)....I prefer black.

Re: Color Selection

I have the Overland ----dark charcoal with saddle leather interior and it is beautiful. Any color interior would look great but I love the saddle leather. Good luck.
