I might have missed it in a prior post. What is the issue they can't fix?

Try a different dealership.

It's the persistent evap leak CEL issue (this time). I don't have time to drive to a different dealership, and quite frankly it don't think I should have to.

You shouldn't have to. But, if it will solve your problem who are you hurting by not trying?

Don't forget the rear struts and mounts, water in the battery compartment and the box under the driver's seat, faulty ground connections, the "bowed" liftgate handle, and on and on. But I'm sure these are all just "computer glitches."

Amazing the head-burying that goes on here. Seems like some here think if it doesn't threaten to blow up the vehicle, it doesn't count as a problem.

Look, it's a great vehicle when it works right. But many 2014s have had a lot more problems than the average 2014, and the surveys reported to CR tell that story. Don't blame the messenger, blame the manufacturer. If yours works fine (and mine does), don't conclude that they all do. Just be thankful and stop with the uninformed rants about CR.

You forgot to mention the rough shifting transmissions with the early build V6's, as well as tire balancing problems with the 20" tires.

It would interesting what the fan boys would be saying if THEIR brand new $40,000+ Jeep shifted like shit for the first 9 months they owned it. How many transmission re-flashes is Chrysler up to now for the 2014 GC V6?

Thankfully my Jeep shifts fine now, but it was a major pain in the ass trying to find a dealership who would implement the re-flashes once they finally came out. My Jeep was within one C-hair of being traded I was so frustrated with it.

I have a 2012 V6 with the 5spd, I still have harsh shifts, all the TSB's have been implemented. I still love my Jeep. I have the rear shock problem but as long as they are replaced under warranty I don't mind.

As long as Jeep is willing to fix the problems and work with me, I'll work with them. Courtesy goes a long way.

I thought I was the only one... Good to know.

If you all are looking for reliability and dependability in an SUV with class leading off road capabilities you may want to look at Range Rover.

Yep and be prepared to sell your wife and kids to pay for it....

You know I cant believe someone is recommending Range Rover as a reliable vehicle to anyone other than the Royal Family.
