I lost something like 8 grand I think? I don't remember what I actually paid for the thing, I'd have to go back and look. I got 24,500. I was shooting for 25K. A perfect scenario would have gotten me 26 and some change, and I've never seen that happen lol.

Re: couldn't resist

Congrats!! I am trying decide between the 2013 and 2014. However my dealer has not received any 2014's so I can test drive. Would you say the 2014 is that much better than the 2012-2013's?

Just the interior to me as a new buyer was worth it. Night and day.

Local dealer received some today and I just got back from a test drive on an Overland. It was absolutely amazing. Drove very smooth and the technology was fantastic. Has me reconsidering waiting for the diesel now as I don't know if I can wait that long!

Same here, was very impressed with the v6 gasser. At the end of the day however, I'm going to wait it out. I know the first time I see a CRD the instant gratification is going to turn to regret.

Re: couldn't resist

It is very smooth no hint of any vibration or fishbite just very smooth. The dealer I went to is a high volume store so they were up about 40 or so in stock and the one that I ended up buying just came in yesterday. They only had a couple with the 5.7 though. When I left after the test drive I though I had done good getting out of there without buying anything, but as I drove home mine felt so sluggish after driving that 14 with the hemi and 8 speed. So I called the guy back and told him I was coming back. They gave me 36K for my 12 Overland with 14K miles on it.

Man that's a huge difference in trade-in values. Carmax would have beaten $26k I bet. Congrats on the new truck. I already want a 5.7 again.. lol

I dunno...our carmax here tends to lowball pretty hardcore too. I took my Cherokee there when I traded it to get an estimate, I got about what I thought I would...low lol. My last GC was pretty base other than ORA-1 and a sunroof.

Congrats!
There are so many more 3.6L's on the lots than 5.7L. You were lucky to find one you liked.
