Antenna that looks like a Shark Fin painted to match the color of my Grand Cherokee, and it replaces the "whip" antenna (AM/FM).

Re: Counting cars

Here in Connecticut Jeep Grand Cherokees are very common! I see at least 20 of them to and from work every morning. I also noticed that when I am on campus during the semester they are also one of the most common vehicles that students have parked on campus! That being said, I don't run into many SRT's, especially the WK2's. I also run into very few Dark Khaki Wk's, which I naturally have a bias for lol.

I had one on order and a couple days later I canceled it. The reason was I actually listen to regular radio and every little bit of antenna helps, especially when I'm trying to pull in a really, really weak signal that's over 100 miles away to listen to a basketball game.

Then that would be perfect for me I don't listen to the radio I always connect to my iPhone.

Re: Counting cars

Interestingly enough the carwash lost my antenna, and I didn't really notice any degradation in signal quality when it wasn't installed...

Re: Counting cars

I see two of them every time I walk in to my garage. Suprisingly I don't see a ton of them out on the road, but I do work out of my home so that isn't a suprise.

The reason for us buying "low end" was simple. We bought two of them, she has the kiddie cart and it gets trashed on a weekly basis and any car that I have literally gets driven fewer than 5K - 7K miles per year (and the reason why I did a 10K for 39 month lease). It makes a heck of a lot more sense than the 2011 Corvette I was paying an arm and a leg for to sit in the Garage and collect dust.

Re: Counting cars

I don't see very many in chambersburg, pa. But when I go to my hometown near Johnstown, pa I see them everywhere.. Winters are a little more harsh there which I think has something to do with it...

Re: Counting cars

On my way into the shop from my house. It's a 22 mile trip. I can go 3 different ways, and they all are about 22 miles long.

I usually see 15-18 Jeep Grand Cherokee's on my way in, and about the same on my way home, and around 5 or 10 throughout the day, so my average is somewhere around 40 Jeep Grand Cherokees a day as an average. It just seems crazy high for Central Florida to be the Jeep Grand Cherokee mecca of the world.
