Cranberry Wine Accents

Just saw that on my build sheet and I have no idea what that is.

Googling it didn't help.

Anybody?

Dan

I noticed that, too, and was wondering the same thing. Maybe I'll have a "chat" next time I go on Mopar Connect and ask.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid this thread was just going to fade away.

Re: Cranberry Wine Accents

Hey, Lightning. While sitting at a redlight, waiting for it to turn green, on the way home I was looking at the stitching on my dash and wondered if that was what is being called "Cranberry Wine accents"?

It looks orange to me but who knows?

Re: Cranberry Wine Accents

I thought you might be right Angler when I read your post just now so of course, I looked at my dash. In the garage with some sunlight and the overhead light on, I thought it might be orange too😊 but then I looked down and to me, it comes close to matching the brown leather seats.

I don't see any Cranberry Wine though.

Re: Cranberry Wine Accents

My dash is black and the seats/door interiors are the New saddle/black. The dash stitching is not brown on mine when looking at it with a bright LED light. I did try the Mopar Connect owners' site chat feature today to see if they could tell where I could find these Cranberry Wine Accents and they were stumped, too. The guy called a dealership parts department in Ventura, CA but they could not help him. He then told me he didn't see it on the build sheet. I told him to look near the end and he found it! He then called the sales division and they said it is part of the interior door trim. I told him that my interior is new saddle/black with no cranberry anywhere on the door. Anyhow after 20 minutes of searching he asked me the best way to get back in touch with me once he found the answer. I told him he apparently now has the best Jeep Grand Cherokee trivia question: Where are the Cranberry Wine Accents found on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He agreed. I'll let you know what he says if I hear back from him.

Re: Cranberry Wine Accents

I got my answer back from Jeep support! Here's what Shawn said:
Hi Richard This is the information I received from our support team . Our records indicate this vehicle was equipped from the factory with the following: *GL Leather Trim Seats w/Edge Welting XT New Saddle/Black XS3 Cranberry Wine Accents - Due to the use of shared sales codes some of the build sheet information maybe missing or inaccurate. Sales code XS3 can also indicate New Saddle/Black Interior or Blackwood Interior Accents. Since you have the New Saddle/Black Interior , it seems to be inaccurate on your build sheet. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for contacting Jeep Customer Care. Please chat with us again if you need further assistance. You can also look for updates on our website Jeep SUVs & Crossovers | Official Jeep Site | Jeep. Have a good day! Sincerely Shawn Jeep Customer Care

I don't know about you, Lightnin, but I'm glad my seats didn't come with the Cranberry Wine Accents. I like them just fine the way they are.

Man, thank you Angler! Not that I was loosing any sleep over it 😊 but that's good to know. It's also good to know my vision recognition hasn't vanished at 75+ years of age.
