Tread Lightly if you join for 3 years. I got the pricing w/o having to wait the 30 days since I got the numbers and what was needed before that.

Re: Current Incentives

So I got my 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo E!!!

$37,452, and $40,300ish OTD (It wasn't 41k like the estimated but my credit union got it right, it was somewhere in the $40.5 area). That full price doesn't include any money down, but did include Gap insurance, and all of Utah's fees and taxes, including few things the dealer slapped on like their stupid doc fee.

I got it below the lowest green area on KBB, the white area where it says 3 people got that price aka below $37.6. According to it, the $38,105 that is fair purchase price, that is 5.5% below MSRP. Meaning my price is 7.2% below MSRP, or $1,140 below Invoice.

After my down payment, my monthly is a $590 a month payment rounded, that is at 2.74%, for 5 and 1 half years, aka 66 months.

Bright White and Morocco Black Interior
V6 4x4

Add Ons:
Off Road Package
Screen and Wheel Package
Tow Package
Security and Convenience Package
Sun Roof
CD Player

I know there's room for negotiations in buying a GC, but what about SRT? I've heard about dealers sticking to MSRP but I'm also seeing some price drops on some inventory.

Hey, congrats Salt Slasher! So it sounds as though you also did not receive any incentives? Just typical dealer mark-down, no factory stuff.
Like you, I'm just happy to be in mine at a "reasonable" cost. Best of luck!

^^^^^This^^^^^

I compiled a list of what I wanted in a JGC. I scoured the sites of dealers within 300 miles, found the car I wanted about 250 miles away. I called and asked for the sales manager. I did the whole deal with him in less than 10 minutes. I caught him at a time (truly) where he had a lot of cars to sell before a deadline 3 days away. A couple of more emails to seal details of the deal. My wife and I had a nice little over nighter to Seattle to pick up our new wheels. The only time I dealt with a salesman was when we did the walk-around and test drive. Then it was on to the finance office (a quick trip since we paid cash).

For those who may be interested, Chrysler Financial is now offering a money factor of .00005, which is equivalent to 0.12% apr, on overlands. MF for limited is slightly higher though, but still very low. CF is also giving $2k incentives on top of conquest or loyalty for leases. I am not certain if the $2k applies to financing. Hopefully this helps somebody who's shopping for a wk2.

Re: Current Incentives

My $500 coupon showed up today. I have my JGC for 5 weeks now so too late for me and there is no way I can offer it to anyone here given it is in my name.
Dang.
Well thank you Chrysler and Jeep and this has been a very fine vehicle by the way to those planning to buy one...

Re: Current Incentives

Salt', dealers make money on financing and they have been able to beat even PenFed rates for me, even when I was pre-approved with check-in-hand. Don't be loath to "entertain them" by allowing them to meet or beat a bank or other rate you already have if you have good credit standing and it may actually help you get a little better price on the vehicle. It will not hurt your credit score to have a targeted inquiry like that. The last days of the month and especially last days of the quarter are the best days to buy. They will often give a better price that lowers their on-that-vehicle profit in order to move units that qualify the dealership for substantial incentives from the factory for volume.

Well, that stinks. Sorry man. Curious as to when you "applied" for the voucher and how long it took to get to you.

I saw the MF for March was lower and the residual for 15k miles was 50% on an Overland. For a limited it is 54% I believe which helps balance the higher MF. Is the $2k incentive published somewhere, I haven't seen it. I've been a little curious of getting into a lease, it would be the first time leasing so I feel a little uncomfortable w/ the change. I'm hoping that I can find a GREAT deal end of March. Haven't been able to get exactly what I want as of yet from the dealers. Maybe w/ the $2k incentive I could add that to their offer? Maybe it does already include it. Was that there in Feb? My quote was from Feb.

Any loyal Jeep owners out there who always lease have the dealer not charge you for going over the mileage if you go into another lease?

2 dealerships mentioned the $2k rebate from Chrysler Financial in addition to returning lessee and lease conquest but 1 dealership said no. I didn't push proceed because they weren't discounting much off invoice.

You should reach out to the dealerships. I have a 2012 WK2 Laredo and would like to get into a new limited with diesel. But am not in any rush.

Good luck.
