Re: Dark charcoal

I can't tell the difference anyway. Mine is usually dirty within a day of washing it.

Re: Dark charcoal

I just took delivery of a Charcoal/Saddle Overland and must say that the charcoal pearl looks great on the truck. In very bright SoCal sunlight it seems to have a slight brownish or greenish tinge to it... hard to describe but looks great. IMO it's the best color available. I thought white was good too, but my last two trucks were white and it was time for a change.

Re: Dark charcoal

Had the exact same issue with white/charcoal. Dealer ordered both and I got to pick. I chose charcoal.

Re: Dark charcoal

It looks like the Charcoals have it. In my case, the dealer has white but is trying to swap for a charcoal. So far no luck.

Re: Dark charcoal

I bounced from white to mineral gray to charcoal. Ordered the mineral gray/saddle and decided after it went to D1 to change to white/saddle. My dealer managed to get it changed. I'm in a remote area, so no large dealerships to see colors in person. It's hard to see the real colors on a computer screen. Never had a white vehicle before. It's now stuck in Toledo, can't wait to see it in person!

Congrats to everyone who is now driving one of these beauties, no matter what color it is!

Re: Dark charcoal

I really ought to seek professional help. Today I saw a mineral grey all prepped and ready for delivery. Hmmmm..... looked good. Up till now, I thought the mineral grey lacked a little "pop." This one today sure popped out very nicely. Maybe my wife will just shoot me and put me out of this misery.

Re: Dark charcoal

Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2012 will be offered in Steel Metallic. I bet that will look nice if it's a medium hue.

Re: Dark charcoal

I eventually gave up trying to pick a color, there isn't a bad one, they all look good. Since I don't have room in the driveway for one of each color, I just took the advice of the family. Their consensus was that the Mineral Gray was best for the male driver, the Blackberry perhaps for females... but I dunno...

In my head I'm still fourteen years old, so red was the only color for me.

Re: Dark charcoal

I had my car located from another dealer since it was hard to find a Laredo with the Pana roof and Nav at the time of purchase. The only one they could find was Charcoal as it turned out I really like it. There is something about the white though. If I hadn't just owned a white SUV I might have gone that way.

Re: Dark charcoal

After all the indecision, I may wait for the 2012 models. Although, I'll lose my loyalty incentive and the TDM.
