Drat...caught an edge of a storm drain yesterday and not only marred a rim, I also slightly damaged the tire. I wasn't planning on replacing the Forteras this soon (22500 miles) but I just don't want to do one new tire. In the immortal words of Mork..."Chuzbut!!!"

(Looking at Nitto NT421Qs)

John, I've had zero issues with the Forteras...smooth, quiet, etc. Great fuel economy. They even performed well aired down on the beach the other day. But I'm not going to buy them again when there are better tires available for my particular needs. :) I just wasn't planning on it to be "now", as it were. It's the end of my fiscal year right now and hopefully I'll get the business in that is expected, especially since this vacation and two teens with August birthdays just cost money too.

I never got more than 25k on them. I would have thought that pulling that horse trailer around would do a number on them as well.

I'd take the Forteras over the Latitudes. Yes, I've had both.
Yep them latitudes are horrible.

I think we got better use out of the forteras.

They are not that bad for the price, for what you would pay for a fortera in 20" the only thing you could get for that price is some off brand chinese tire with a treadlife that is way less than what is posted on the sidewall.

Yea, I agree, JA...the Forteras haven't been bad at all for me and for the price, if I didn't have my eye on the shiny new Nitto NT421Q tires , I'd probably just buy Forteras again.
