Re: Daytime running lights..

That doesn't bother me. I've been driving a Jimmy for 11 years that did the same thing. I got used to it and it helps other drivers notice your turn signal instead of that shiny paint.

I do not know why this would be a concern, as you are driving the car, not looking at from the outside.
The reason Jeep fit DRL's is for safety. It is a proven fact that DRL's make your vehicle more visable to stupid drivers. This may prevent the next pissed idiot from pulling out in front of you and killing you.
Personally I am changing the DRL's to a whiter LED to match the HID headlights.
We should be happy we do not have the Wanker Audi LED DRL's that come in all shapes and sizes.

Re: Daytime running lights..

I'm not against DRLs I'm against turning one off when the signal light is on. That is a bit retarded. Hell I'd be happy if the HID's were on instead of some lame DRLs.

You are in luck. There is a switch to activate those HIDs.

The point is that drivers in front of you get a clear indication that you are turning. Withe the one DRL off you can see the turn signal much better.

I thought the same thing at first, until I saw one turning from half a block away and I could immediately tell he was turning into my path I had to slam of the breaks!
