Whereabouts are you? I'm in WV.
I test drove a granite with black and white with brown and liked both. My local dealer didn't have billet silver or a indigo blue interior for me to see in person. I figured if I didn't like them when I got to Koons I would either go silver /black or granite/black or find something else. Once I saw the silver/blue I told Nader I didn't need to see anything else and to get the paperwork started. He sword me a couple others anyway, but I was sold on silver/blue.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I ordered my overland from Nader on dec 12. Vots says its in shipment now as of this morning. Just wondering how much longer before it gets to the dealer. Does any one have an idea on this?
Big wave thank you for putting me in touch with Nader.

Re: DC metro area group buy

There is no telling. VOTS says shipment when mine sat at JNAP for two weeks before getting on a train car which is another 5-7 days. My guess is 2-3 weeks from now unless it is actually shipped...

Wow, really? How did you Know where it was sitting or if it was on a train?
I was hoping it meant that I would be getting it next week.

Glad you were able to take advantage of the GB.

If you become a level III supporter or above of Jeep Garage, and ask Milous to track your truck, you can see where in the process it is -- he and Willx provide far greater insights into the status of your order than Chrysler/Jeep customer service/VOTS.

B/c of all the information I had picked up, and b/c of the group buy deal we pulled together among the JG community, I felt it was well worth the contribution/money well spent.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Hi folks,
Add me to the list of satisfied customers on this group buy. I placed my order with Nader at the end of November and picked up my Overland yesterday. I flew to DC, wrapped up the paperwork, and drove it home (about 3.5 hours). The whole process was completely painless. Nader was wonderful to work with and he will absolutely get a chance to earn my business again in the future (group buy or not).

I only had one small problem with the Jeep that I'll post about in another thread, but the quick and dirty is that when I got home I noticed that the fuel door was black (or maybe Max Steel??)...my Jeep is True Blue!!! We went around the entire Jeep and Nader even popped the fuel door open during the walk-around. I guess in that particular sunlight, neither of us noticed it. Anyway, I just busted out laughing when I saw it.

Anway, thanks again to those responsible for setting up this deal.
