Re: DC metro area group buy

I'm stopping off at Koons tonight to put the deposit down on a Limited. Pricing was right on the line compared to what was in the Pricing thread. Pretty seamless coming to a price agreement.

Looks like everyone is going to Koons.. Is that who we're all going with now then?

Has anyone gotten a detailed written agreement on pricing details?

Sounds like people are getting antsy. BigWave - any news from Farrish?

gwnewman - glad everything was seamless. Did you speak with Tom or Nader?

I've gotten the written agreement for 7% under invoice but Tom asked me not to post it online. I was planning on emailing everyone the letter and cc'ing the sales manager so that he knew the list of people who were seriously looking to buy and we could all communicate with him at once. If we don't hear anything from Farrish in the next day or so, we should probably just go ahead with Koons since I know some people are ready to order now.

Can you shoot that to me via email so I can take a quick look? I think I pm'd you my email address earlier.

BTW - I called Tom and left him a voicemail just a few minutes ago. Waiting to hear back. Who is Nader?

Just sent it to you. Nader is the sales associate that I initially worked with before speaking directly with Tom. Don't want to short change him any commission for his part in this deal, although I doubt Tom would do that anyway. I should have mentioned him in my first post but forgot to.

Hi BigWave & only1tobin,

I still cannot use the PM function, so please shoot me an email via the forum, many thanks.

I spoke with Tom just now, he seemed very easy to deal with and I emailed him my build info on both vehicles so he could price them out the door for me.

Barring any issues, I think I'm good to go with Koons - I've dealt with them in the past and never had any issues.

We need to keep a running tally of how many people have closed the deal with Koons as we go. (Who put down the deposit).

I'm here now waiting on trade numbers. Salesman is Joe, nice guy, easygoing. Provided all goes well, I'll deposit tonight and should take delivery this week!

Always hit up Carmax on your trade before going to the dealership. It will at least give you a baseline on trade.

What are you trading if you don't mind me asking?
