Re: DC metro area group buy

Was anyone able to negotiate out the $499 processing fee or the $333 registration fee from the group buy?

Thanks silvermax04, yeah I think the $333 is for registering my tags and title. Were you able to negotiate any accessories into the deal, like all season floor mats or wheels locks?

A year ago when i bought mine the 7% was the lowest and just about the best anywhere and nobody else was touching it. So no thd deal was set and that was what it was nothing more or less. Now a year later there are likely other dealers getting closer to that so maybe you could get something more but i would not count on it or plan on it. The purpose of the deal was it was a set no haggle easy in out no stress deal. I would not expect them to start negotiiting it. Tjis deal is only for the 2014s for the 2015s who knows what they will do with it for those it remains to be seen.

Thanks for the information everyone. How do they handle supplier (affiliate) pricing? Does the dealer give you 2% of invoice off the price? I thought I saw somewhere 2% is what Chrysler gives the dealership back for the program.

No. Affiliate does not apply to this deal.

You are getting 7% below invoice instead of 1% below invoice... ..no affiliate code needed.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Just put a deposit on a new Overland 4x4 Diesel with Adv. Tech in cherry red and with the frost/brown interior from Koons at the Group Buy price. Absolutely wonderful to deal with.

Driving down from upstate ny to pick it up on Saturday. Trading in my 2010 WK.

Dealers around NY wouldn't even touch the price. Most of them quoted me 1000 under msrp. (No joke). They kept insisting the deal was a scam. Haha.

Thanks again guys. Looking forward to getting the new one.

Yep --- I got the same BS from several dealers. One even sent me an email warning me that he looked up this dealership and they weren't reputable and it would be bait and switch and I'd get to DC and be sorry, etc. Seriously.

Instead, I was 1000% pleased.

There was a guy local to me that was running a tv ad that said he would beat any deal or pay you $10k. When I confronted him with the deal from DC he tried to qualify that it only applied to vehicles on his lot and only to this and only to that... typical tap dance bullshit. I told him that if he planned on lying on TV like that eventually someone who is more of a dick than I am is going to haul his ass to court and he should reconsider his tv ad. Also told him that since my advice just saved him $10k for being stupid that he should split that savings with me and send me a check for $5k.

Still waiting on my check...
