Sent at 10:23. Check your spam filters as it did go to about 13 people you likely never have sent or received email from.

Thank you all for your participation to this point. I hope this works out for all of us.

BigWave when you sign to place the order for your Grand Cherokee you are signing on your final price showing the 7% discount at that time correct? So it is not a matter of waiting for more people to place their orders before we know correct? Thanks

Until we see the agreement that the dealer has laid out in writing, I cannot say for sure -- hopefully he will send it our way via email, that was the purpose of reaching out to him.

What I expect to happen, and if what only1tobin and gwnewman1 stated is true, it should look something like:

Invoice (total including options at invoice pricing) - 7% of total invoice = Subtotal...

...Subtotal + tax = Subtotal 2....

Subtotal 2 + tags + license + $499 dealer processing = Total.

That's what I'm expecting. I anybody who's actually done it already would care to clarify, please do so.

When I first emailed Tom, he replied back with the MSRP and the "equote" listed below, which was roughly invoice minus 7%...I think it might have been 6, but I wasn't going to fuss. It also listed all the options/packages.

For the record, he didn't argue at all about below invoice. I mentioned the group buy and got the price right off the bat.

Did you all receive my email? If you haven't, I will need to resend to the dealer as well to make sure all get it.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I just sent out the agreement letter to the email group. For those looking to order now, please keep me posted on your progress and experience with Koons. I definitely want to make sure they continue to honor this deal for EVERYONE. Best of luck, everyone!

PM'd you. You, and others, can still get in on this.

If anybody else wants in, PM me and only1tobin your email address and we'll shoot you the information. When you do it, if you care to, provide us the build of the truck you want -- not a requirement for the group, just tracking it.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I put a hold on 1 vehicle they have coming in the next week or so. Pricing is 7% under invoice, pricing matches what is in the other thread here.

Going to Carmax to get a price on my trade - then I'll talk to Koons about the trade. Otherwise I'll be turning my car in this week to Carmax and waiting for the new Jeep to come in.

Decided to go up to Limited 4X4 Black/Black w/ OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE II (AWY) and UCONNECT 8.4AN AM/FM/BT/ACCESS/NAV (RA4).
