Is the destination fee applicable to the invoice price of $43,736? Or are you simply deducting 7% from $43,736 and that's out the door price before tax?
$43736 minus 7% + Tax, Title, Tags, $499 Dealer Processing Fee + $995 Destination Fee.

So everyone is paying $995 on top of negotiated price? Few pages back it seemed like members were infering the destination fee shouldn't be applicable if you're paying invoice..

Invoice price does not contain destination (see the +$995 Destination after the invoice price). The issue was we were paying destination fee TWICE. That is no longer true. We're paying it ONCE.

Ah just reread the previous pages. So. This dealer was padding the "invoice price" with a $995 charge (or, -7% = $925) and then putting full destination charge in on top?

(Invoice price + $995) * .93 + $995

So nothing above is accurate?

Guys, the destination fee is included in the invoice price, if you see the windows sticker you will find it. So the correct final OTD price should be invoice*0.93+tax+499. However, Koons charged us one more fee called freight fee, which is the same as destination fee and they shouldn't.

Wow. Are you sure about this? The additional $1k destination/freight fee could sway someone one way or another when it comes to options/engine choice ordered.

Yes, positive. I have an email from the dealer's general manager stating invoice minus 7% plus $499.

To be crystal clear... When you look at the numbers in the ordering and pricing thread it breaks out the $995 destination fee from the invoice price. My understanding is that IS included in the dealer's "invoice price" so you ARE paying it. The confusion earlier was that the salesman goofed up and added ANOTHER $995. That additional or double charge is fixed and will not be charged.

Bottom line... LOOK at your pricing sheet and compare it to the invoice pricing in the pricing and ordering thread. Make sure you know what you are paying.

Not yet. Did he also give you a correct OTD price after doofoo talked to the GM?

I received an email today from Jeep and VOTS shows mine is scheduled for production. Mine maybe different though because it was one they already had on order that they just put my name on.
I still need go in to review the corrected pricing and put down my deposit later this week.
