I looked up in the documentation and it says 7yr/100k is transferable, however lifetime is not *unless required by law, which is only like 2 states - not MD or VA*

I'll update once I get the pricing.
Did they ever get back on anything concerning group pricing on the extended warranties? or is the $2185 still looking like the best on the lifetime and better to go it alone online?

Nope, nothing yet. I'll contact the GM today to see if we can get some movement on this. I know I'm interested, but I need some numbers!

THanks for checking on this. I haven't called today, are they actually open?

Yes they are open, I spoke with Nader this morning.
Also he said something about a delay on the diesels, mine is not a diesel but was just curious what that was about, anyone know?

Did we just uncover a $1000 money grab by every dealer in the group buy threads? If everyone in those threads is paying the $995 on top of their "invoice" pricing, that makes their 5-6% off invoice more like 2-4% off invoice.

I don't see how that is. Even when I was going to get 5% by myself, I still had to pay the $995. I think everyone has to pay it. Have everyone look at their Order slip, it is on there. I don't think the dealer would eat that on top of the discount you are getting.

Look at it this way. The prices that are in the Ordering thread: MSRP (INVOICE) + $995. You have to add $995 to the price to MSRP and invoice. Sure you could have a dealer say they will wave the destination charge but they will make it up somewhere else.

The key is to add up the invoice pricing on your own. The $995 should be added to that number you come up with or it should be added in to the totals with the taxes, tags and processing, where ever the dealer wants to put it. It just should not be in both places which is what we ran into at Koons. It was being double charged but they have corrected that now. I have not seen the new numbers yet so I am not sure which one they are removing. When I see my final numbers in the next few days will let you know.

Hey Sno what was the group discount you ended up getting in your area? was it similar to the one we got here, just curious?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (see Corvette Stingray/Ferrari 458 headlamps)

I bow to you for beating the 6%. I actually started to go out trying to get more after you got 7%, but no one would touch the 6% around here. I'm good with that! We are like Geico...We can save people money!!

6 is good, and how many freight charges was that? 0, 1 or 2. That seems to be the question to ask now lol.

Did the dealer give you any idea how long delivery would take? you and I have same order dates so I was just curious. Thanks
