Re: DC metro area group buy

Only getting charged 1 time for the destination fee..

No word on delivery but my guess would be by end of April (hopefully sooner). I haven't even gotten an email from VOTS yet.

Our prices on our Dealer website do not include the destination fee for example.
Chivvalry, what exactly did you order? You happen to have your out the door pricing? Using invoice price thread, it shouldn't be difficult to see if your out the door -7% invoice price has a $995 fee in there.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I haven't ordered yet. Here's exactly what the GM sent me:

Quote:
Here are the details on the deal.

Invoice -7% +tax, tags and dealer processing fee (excluding srt)

Example

$45000 invoice

-$3150

$41,850

Its that simple really. Our processing fee is a little high $499 We can handle all out of state tax and tag work. We sell 10 to 20 a month to your area already.
I will send him a reply and ask about the destination fee and see what he says.

Re: DC metro area group buy

A bit of news to hopefully brighten some days-- if anybody you know is looking to get a Wrangler, I was able to get the same deal extended to those trucks. Same stipulations apply (and we'll be sure to double check there is not a double charge on destination or freight or whatever they were calling it). This applies to the rest of the MY13s.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Just spoke with the sales rep -- orders looking to go in tomorrow or Fri b/c the sales mgr didn't make it in today.

Again, thanks to those who were able to work with the GM to pull the double charge on the destination fee. Sigh.

Re: DC metro area group buy

From the GM:
Quote:
The $995 fee is already included in the invoice amount. Other dealers are then adding it again. We are not.
To ensure complete clarity I then sent this to him:

Quote:
Thanks, to ensure I can speak to this completely accurately then, for a real example, the invoice price for a Limited 4X4 is $36,192 and that includes the $995 destination charge?

So it would be $36,192 minus 7% plus $499 and tax, title. Definitely a deal worth driving 5 hours for.
I will let you know his answer to that real example as soon as I get it. This should provide complete clarity... I hope.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I don't think destination is included in the invoice amounts posted on this site. If the dealer is not adding invoice at all then you are getting an extra good deal!!

I wonder what other area dealers are trying to add the freight in twice. Fairish wasn't I had OTD numbers from them and it was only once. Glad Koons got theirs corrected that was good of them to promptly fix that.

Was just at Koons and gave them my Overland CRD 'order'. I noticed they drill all front bumpers for the tag brackets when cars come in; made a note on the order they should not do so on mine.
Now just waiting for CRD-day!

Did you get a pricing sheet that shows the invoice price of your overland? If so can you share that number please?

Re: DC metro area group buy

A coworker mentioned something about this group buy. I just tried the 2014 Overland on Monday. I'd like to get in on the buy for a 2014 Summit in the Deep Auburn Pearl with brown interior. Can someone reference how I get connected into this?
