Nice - that's how dealerships should all be! - may just make a road trip to DC this summer (as long as that sticker can be easily removed! )

Yea I removed that sticker asap. Was nervous at first when I got home and saw that.

But it does remove easily.

are you talking about a dealer sticker that says where the truck came from? I hate those.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Anymore info on how Koons has been with trade-ins? I would be trading in my 2007 Tahoe with 105,000 miles.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't have good luck with them on my trade it has around the same miles as yours and what they told me was only about half of what the NADA trade in value is. He said they cant do much with higher mileage vehicles so I am just going to sell it on my own once the one I ordered comes in.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Looks like we're up to roughly 29 group members who've been in touch with the dealer. My wife has been on a business trip with our Msoft-equipped laptop hence the delinquent updated spreadsheet.

Occassionally I will post something to keep this thread atop the WK2 non-sticky threads list. Appreciate any help you all could give. Let's think...any more info on the lifetime warranty? Anybody who's gotten their truck care to share some insights? Photos?

Re: DC metro area group buy

Still waiting on the CRDs and wondering about whether I'm going to buy or lease. Interest rates are so attractive right now but I know me and I will probabky want an upgrade in a few years time. Decisions decisions. There's also the huge unknown of what a lease will actually cost when I know exactly what a purchase would cost....

I actually asked when in VA but sales guy said he couldn't be as competitive with residual value and quote. Didn't really ask why or numbers kind of just said ok.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Wow we did it! Snagged us a White Overland w/ black interior with Advanced group and V8.

Bought from Nader who is a terrific and very respectful salesman. A breath of fresh in car buying. He was very patient working through our concerns. We closed with Rob the finance guy who made the purchase effortless. The dealership is very very clean and the vehicles on the lot are organized like a military parade. Best I have seen.

Will post some photos when it stops raining.

You can't go wrong buying from these guys and we couldn't be happier. Got the exact deal of invoice - 7% + $499 + tax and tags. No extra destination charge as experienced earlier -- they made a point of letting us know that it was not added. They are a class act and very professional.

Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this happen. I think this is the most fun we have had buying a car without the typical feeling of being hosed.
