It is unfortunate you didn't have the experience you expected. I hope you enjoy the truck you got.

Thus far I have been pleased with the dealer's responsiveness and, when necessary, willingness to take corrective action on issues that arose for various GB participants.

For those that are contemplating use of the agreement we've reached with the dealer, if you are so inclined, please PM me and I will connect you with them. If you speak with them and are comfortable pulling the trigger, great. If you don't think you're getting a good enough deal, that is fine and we thank you for your interest and wish you luck elsewhere.

I have no affiliation with the dealer outside of placing my order with them. I do not get anything beyond the deal arranged with them.

So, if you're interested, PM me, connect with the dealer, kick the tires on the deal and decide for yourself.

Just think of it this way...He paid more than he had to for being impatient. Go back to the other forum and actually post something of information since you haven't here. Wish we could delete crap like this.

BigWave....Your way to calm about this..lol

Re: DC metro area group buy

Ok, hopefully last question.....I know the window sticker shows the destination charge of $995. Are you saying that when the dealer gives you the " invoice price" that $995 is not part of it and needs to be added? I guess what I'm asking is that what you are all calling the " freight" charge? So it's not like we are paying destination x2 right? We get the invoice price, subtract 7% and add tax, plates, $499 fee, and the window sticker destination of $995 correct? Hope I am understanding this correctly.

You can't loose 2k per deal unless you are making it somewhere, I have my own opinions on this deal and last I checked we all enjoy the freedom of speech. You guys can hate all you want.

Destination and Freight are the same thing. The charge is included in dealer invoice since it's part of the sticker price to begin with. You take the invoice price on the pricing thread (which'll also tell you to add 995 to it), and add the invoice cost of all your options and that'll give you the invoice price that Koons is basing this deal on. Then subtract 7% from that. The only extra charges you should see are tags, tax, title and processing.

Sorry now I'm getting confused. It's invoice -7% plus 1 - 995 charge plus tags, tax and title correct?

Re: DC metro area group buy

invoice for for Limited CRD with ORAI, tow, lux II, nav including destination: 36192 + 4005 + 2670 + 530 + 574 + 356 +995

Total: 45,322

45,322-7%+$499=42,648.46 add applicable tax and that's your OTD price.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Thanks for that clarification on the breakdown, I'm interested in a limited, I took this pricing ( see below) from the 1st page everyone directed me to, what is the $36,192 referring to, the Invoice price? So I would add $36192 plus my options at invoice and then add 995 then take 7% off? Plus the tax, title, tags. $499 dealer fee. Do I got it now? Not a big difference in MSRP vs. invoice is there!?!?!?!?! Thought it would be more.

Limited 4X4 - MSRP $37,795 ($36,192) + $995 destination

This is still the best deal on this forum contrary to what 655321 said.
