So I would add $36192 plus my options at invoice and then add 995 then take 7% off? Plus the tax, title, tags. $499 dealer fee. Do I got it now? Not a big difference in MSRP vs. invoice is there!?!?!?!?! Thought it would be more.

Limited 4X4 - MSRP $37,795 ($36,192) + $995 destination
That's right. My build is over $5k off of MSRP.

Yep. Mine was $41,820 MSRP (includes destination), the group price (with destination) was $37,118, plus tags, tax, title and processing.

Can't argue with that, considering I got exactly what I wanted, straight down to the color.

Koons currently is not planning on discontinuing this deal to Forum members and will continue to place orders at 7% under invoice for the foreseeable future. As clarification for those who wish to place an order, the invoice includes the freight/destination charge. Therefore the only additional fees will be state taxes, tag/registration fees and dealer processing of $499.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Does anyone know if I place an order with these guys can I have my vehicle shipped to a local dealership or do I need to pick it up locally (would be driving for most of the day otherwise)? Thanks!

You would have to talk to both dealers on that if they would allow it. Plus you would add about $1000 for doing that as they won't do it for free. This was discussed long ago in many threads.

Ah - so I would basically pay the "freight" fee twice then eh? Thanks for the clarification Sno

Re: DC metro area group buy

I don't think they will let you pick it up at another dealer. They will probably ship the car for you and charge you for the shipping cost.

Man...you are at it again, I thought everything was cool a couple days ago. I assure you the dealer is not losing any money on this sale, if they were they would not be offering it. It may be that they are counting on receiving bonuses from Chrysler for moving a lot of vehicles. Multiple people on this forum have ordered vehicles and even taken delivery and have had good service, so it is not a scam. Also the dealer has a good rating on dealerrater. I have had very good contacts with Nader at Koons, both times I emailed him with questions he called my phone within 15 minutes. You are not the only customer they are dealing with, and looking at the way you acted I am not surprised they were not attentive to your needs. You are the type of customer that is better to be avoided because it seems that you are impossible to please.

I hope you enjoy your Jeep, and that you can find some useful information to post on here in the future.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Hello all,

I am new to this thread, and Jeep Garage. I found this site while looking for information to help plan my purchase of a 2014 Limited with Lux II, RA4, and Off Road Adv I. Jeep Garage has proven to be a wealth of information from very knowledgeable posters.

I am wondering how I can get involved in the D.C. Metro Area Group buy. Are there any special procedures, or is it open to anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Jeep Garage, DMK44. write up a couple more posts (#2 "here's my second post"; #3 "hopefully I can PM now") then PM me your email address (and truck/options if you care to) and I will connect you with the folks we're working with at the dealer.
