Thank you for taking care of it. I think the last thing we want is in a great thread like this to have any sourness coming along for no reason.

Thanks guys. What bothers me is how said person still chooses to come back to this thread that he absolutely have nothing to so with other than slandering the dealership because of their own impatience. However. I suggest we maintain our civility towards this person on their "other" threads. We are supposed to maintain a helpful community in the first place. That being said, to said offender, we get the point, you had a bad experience at Koons.

Koons is the worst dealer - this deal is going away because its full of crap like I said all along, just another bait and switch tactic.

If you have a trade they will low ball you about 5k in order to try and make up the difference.

If you come into the deal with no trade good luck on getting a purchase order signed and be prepared for every excuse why they can't give you one , "managers are all busy" , "we have three deals pending finance ". Yeah right on a Monday at 1230pm you have three deals waiting. Or my favorite " management meeting is going on right now "

This is just a gimmick to get you to contact the dealer for a deal they can't deliver on , and koons salesman are on this thread under the guise of being normal members.

But sure if you want to chase this fairy tale go ahead.
Maybe you work for another dealer :lmao:

I am not trading anything and I signed to order for the deal and my truck is already built and ready for delivery and I have a check ready for them when it gets here. you are just bitter because you paid more and were to impatient for this deal.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I had a really frustrating conversation with Thomas at Koons yesterday. I had asked Nader to provide me with a quote on a lease payment for 3 different buildouts on Tuesday, 3/19 (if you are new to this thread, they will uphold this deal for leases as per Nader). I called Wednesday to touch base and he mentioned Thomas was out for the day and that he'd work on getting me them on Thursday. I did not hear anything from them on Thursday so I called back Friday around 5:00 PM. Nader was with another customer so I reached out to Thomas and explained that I was looking for quotes on 3 buildouts that I had sent Tuesday. He was short with me and said "How am I supposed to quote you on a lease for a vehicle that doesn't exist?". I said I understood that over time the residuals and MFs may change, but I just needed to get an idea of what it would be now so I had a ballpark to make a decision off of. He said he'd try to get me something but couldn't tell me when it would be. He stated that they are "a very busy dealership" and "we have 15 people in our showroom right now". Has anyone else had any bad experiences (excluding 655321's tirade)? Am I wrong in wanting them to work up some numbers for me so I can make a final decision? He may have been stressed out but his responses to me were enough to drive me away if it weren't for the deal.

My guess is they're not making much money on these deals and therefore give the more profitable deals higher priority. It is only natural for low profit deals to get less attention especially if the dealership is busy.

Probably the best time to talk to them is on a weekday night when it's raining. That's when we purchased ours and we were in and out in less than two hours. Nader was also very attentive in part because he had no other customers competing for his time.

My advise is to keep the deals simple!

Re: DC metro area group buy

For what its worth, I got wind of this from another thread. I am not in the market for a 2014, but I did nearly buy my 2011 at Koons and dealt with "Thomas". My experience was so poor, and he was so rude I almost gave up on the Jeep purchase altogether, as it was I shelved it for 3 months. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership EVER, and that is saying something.

I will never, EVER buy a product from a Koons dealership as long as I live. I would pay thousands of dollars more to someone else just because they were someone else.

Uh, no. A customer is a customer, every customer deserves basic respect, their questions answered, and to be treated as if they are of value. This @sshole is not to be trusted.

Just thinking about it now makes me mad after all this time.

I never dealt with Thomas but rather Nader and Rob the finance guy - both were professional and accommodating.

On our road to Koons we dealt with some terrible dealerships wanting thousands more for their inventory. We were prepared to get less attention in return for 7% off invoice but in our case we got both!

As long as "Thomas" works for Koons, they won't get $1 of my money. I don't care if Jesus Christ himself works there too.
