Hello all. I am definitely in. SilverMax, if I can pull together a spreadsheet or some such with the interested orders, would you be interested in joining the group? For all those who are committed to buying/ordering send me a PM with your preferences and I'll put together a group order sheet.

Let me also add that, at one time, I used to be a salesperson for some of the local Jeep area dealers. I haven't been in the business for about 12 years and am not associated with any local dealer. So, some of the following info may be outdated..... [edited]

I addition to that, the expectation that you could get 5% below invoice would need to be tempered with the fact that there's only so much room the dealer is likely to give up based on the 3% of total MSRP holdback - especially on an expected hot new ticket like the '14 GC.
Thanks for the info ITGuy. I've gone through the thread and provided that you're serious about ordering, and along with the couple of distant buyers, we have at least 10 people which would get us to at least the 6% mentioned by SilverMax04 (I included you in the count SilverMax). Is everybody still game?

I imagine we should be able to get the dealer to put a timeframe around ordering that spans the availability of different packages (CRD, Lux II, etc), so that should allow those who are interested to participate. BTW, I'm definitely in.

torifile, overlandguy, and only1tobin -- which style are you looking for (Summit, Overland, etc) and do you know the options you'd want?

Limited 4X4, Lux II, Uconnect 8.4AN for me.

This list should also include ncstreamer. He PMed me after I said I would organize it, but he stated that he was ordering an Overland 4x4 CRD with Adv. Tech. Package.

I don't have any updates on my end. I am waiting to hear back from Koons for pricing info.

No pricing info from koons yet but they do have 7 2014s listed on their inventory website that I was told will be in any day. I don't think they fit what anyone is looking for though.

If anyone gets out there to drive one let me know because I'd like to get in one to take it for a drive. Oh, and I hold no one comes through and buys them all before any of us get a chance to sit in one.

Re: DC metro area group buy

True Blue Laredo 3.6 with ORA-I, towing, sunroof and security & convenience for me. Black/grey interior. I'll take the 18" wheel group w/the 8.4 radio if the pot is sweet enough though

I'm definitely interested, but the deal has to be good, there's nothing particularly wrong with my '12 (and I'm finally getting it broken in). I'd like to come out even-ish on the deal with my trade.
