Was thinking that myself -- I bought from them, saved a boatload of money, took delivery and had zero problems. That's a fact.

I had one problem, and it got fixed in a hurry. I also kept a truckload of cash in my pocket and am happy. I find it entertaining that in 45 pages, all went well. Problems only cropped up and the trashing began after one particular person couldn't wait in line...

Folks, if you don't like Koons, fine, don't buy from them. If they were that shady, they wouldn't have agreed to the deal in the first place.

Lol its a tually pretty ballsy for a person to not only ask for the 7% deal under INVOICE but then also ask for top trade in amount for a trade. Luckily for me, im nottrading anything nor am i financing the car through them i guess. Who knows. Deal has been outstanding to me.

How long have you worked for Koons?

LOL, I do not work for a dealership, I am not in the car business, I just had a very bad experience with this dealership that mirrored the experiences of a couple other people here and I shared my experience in the hopes that it may help somebody. I have no agenda, I'm not involved with this group buy, I already own my Jeep, not looking for a new one.

Just wondering.... did you bring your poor service experience up when you bought the vehicle or after this one other guy decides to complain he isn't getting his 7% off deal written up quickly enough.

I appreciate honest feedback but call a shill a shill when I thiink I see one.

As for me, when I buy my car through either the Chicago or DC group buy I'm not going to finance it or have a trade-in. And when they give me a price break bigger than any local dealer I have spoken to in Michigan I'm going to say thank you very much and I appreciate you writing it up when you have time. These large dealerships have plenty of other customers who are paying full price and I don't expect them all to drop everything to make a few hundred bucks of me.

I was originally going to buy my vehicle in Wisconsin at 6% under invoice but too many people were contacting the dealer daily asking when they could order,etc. that he simply cancelled the whole deal. Kick the tires locally and know what you want when you go in and I don't believe there should be any issues. There are plenty of satisfied customers through Koons and other dealers to attest to this fact.

Absolutely, I recall posting a thread about it. I don't remember if it was here or on the other Jeep forum though, it was several months before I actually bought my Jeep. I popped into this thread because of a comment someone made on another thread.

I got better than 7% when I bought mine, but that was an entirely different time.

I don't understand why you're so defensive about this particular dealer and my experience with them...and you think *I'm* the shill?

My point about being sure to check your numbers is...make sure when you go over the paperwork that you are ACTUALLY getting the 7% off deal that they are promising you. I was promised a great deal by Koons and they never intended to deliver on it.
