Re: DC metro area group buy

Well thanks again for to those who put this together. I am in begining stages of build and order with the dealership. I'm hoping to have a new 2014 sometime in the near future.

I have a question I was hoping you could please help clarify and I just want to make sure I receiving accurate information. Although I am very grateful for the nice discount given, I was told that no incentives could be placed on top of this deal. For example; I am retired military and I believe there is a $500 incentive for military, I was told I could not apply this. Does this sound legit ? Again, very grateful for the price but like everyone else here, the less I have the pay the better. Any information would be grateful, thanks.

I would like to know as well. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't since the incentive money is from Jeep in the first place. I was looking forward to knock off $1000 with the lease conquer. Otherwise, LuxII might not happen ;(

That would be an outstanding deal if the incentives could be added in addition.

Is that what Nader said or a different salesman said?

Re: DC metro area group buy

My JGC arrived in Jessup, MD early in the morning of 4/14 and has an estimated deliver of 4/19.

Arrived at Destination 04/14/2013 12:34 AM EDT On Railcar - Jessup, MD

Iím planning to fly from CLE to BWI on Thursday 4/25. I suspect several have already made the trip from BWI to the Koons and any advice on selection of transportation (i.e. rental car, taxi, other) would be greatly appreciated. From what I gather a taxi ride would cost about $100 and one day rental car with drop-off in Vienna somewhat more.

I know some have flown down to pick up, don't know which airport they came in from, maybe Dulles? But some who flew down arranged to get picked up from the airport by someone from Koons. Don't know if they'd go out to BWI though. I checked out rental drop offs in the Tyson's corner area and I think there is an Enterprise center at or near the dealership!

Just to add to this, Dulles is definitely the closest airport and Koons would probably pick you up from there since its about 15 minutes away. BWI, probably not, it's about 50 minutes from the airport without traffic, and up to two hours in traffic.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Where I live in Colorado, the sales tax is only 4.99%, and that is only on the difference in the cost of the new vehicle minus the trade-in (if though the trade-in may have a loan balance). In my that works out to about $700.

Thanks for the Enterprise suggestion. Made arrangements for pick up a compact car at BWI and drop-off and Koons with a total price is about $85.

Thanks for your suggestion on Dulles. Unfortunately flight from CLE to IAD seem to be dramatically more expensive than flights from CLE to BWI. Don't know why the difference big. Combined price of flight to BWI and rental car works out to be less than half of price of flight to IAD alone.
