Re: DC metro area group buy

I'm probably planning on doing a one way rental myself from Durham up to Koons. Good to know that there's an enterprise nearby. It would be great if Koons would give me a good price on my trade but I doubt they will.

I'll be flying into Dulles. It's 15 miles away from the dealership

This is what Nader told me via phone. I thought these incentives were from Jeep, not the dealer, so I don't see why this would be a problem. Am I missing something?

I understand that incentives were not discussed or part of the Group Buy Agreement...but would not make sense, as a dealership, why the incentives would not be accepted. Also, what about the $500-1000 Bonus Cash that some of us received.

If this is the case, I may go a different route (2014 Pathfinder ) and wait for the MY16 for my first Jeep coz I don't really see myself getting even a MY13 Overland or Summit despite the savings.

My cousin got a new Pathfinder Platinum edition. They're disappointed with it somewhat. They basically got it because they have 2 little girls and wanted 3 rows.

Thanks for the heads up-I am really refusing to get anything but the MY14 JGC but may forces to check my other options in the $35-38K range (Murano, CPO Acura MDX, Explorer Limited etc). I only have a toddler to worry about with a second planned in the future so a (useless) 3rd row is not required

I looked at the new pathfinders before jeep and I was disappointed also they look and feel like a minivan instead of an SUV.

The Pathfinder? Ugh. That thing is a boat. I had a '95 pathfinder that I loved but since about '98 or so, they've gotten all Golden Corral buffet on me.

I agree-I'd buy a MY13 JGC or MY13 Durango first much I've enjoyed my last 2 Nissan's.

Re: DC metro area group buy

A note to potential buyers of a Wrangler in MD (not sure if this applies to other Jeep vehicles or other states as I didn't ask). For those looking to do a deal outside of the group buy, I just discovered that the $1000 cash rebate for customers with a competitors lease, is good for most car brands (I thought it was VW only). I confirmed with Chrysler and a MD dealer. Given that I qualify for that rebate and another $500 rebate, I was able to negotiate a lower price than the group buy price (my lease is on a Toyota). Hopefully this is useful information to some of you.

Happy Wednesday!

I'm beginning to think the $1000 Non-VW Conquest Rebate is "still" available but not advertised - not even on the JEEP site (for ANY models) If that is the case, that is a good extra $1K towards the Jeep of your choice.
