Re: DC metro area group buy

So has anyone leased a laredo or limited with this group buy? If I went with the laredo id probably just get a credit union loan and go buy it. But id love to have the limited and leasing would be best for me. Talking to my local dealers has been brutal and id love to just drive down and do the group buy....just with all tthe rates changing in may I dont really have alot of information....thanks guys

Re: DC metro area group buy

I want to say folks here have at least looked into leasing. If you are interested, PM me your email address and I'll connect you with the folks we're working with at the dealer. You may want review a thread set up earlier this month on JG: All Chrysler Leasing Changed Today -- looks like rates went up a little. And I believe some have expressed disappointment in the residuals. As with most things on the site, for each individual's specific circumstance there is an option that works best for them. So as long as your comfortable with a certain decision, that's all that matters.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I have been waiting on the CRD with the DC group buy...but am now seriously considering bailing on the diesel. (Add I just can't pull the trigger on the Touareg TDI that I have been able to price at 3.8% below invoice via TrueCar.)

Is the DC group buy pricing also good on JGC's that are already in transit (and soon for sale) at Koon's? In other words, Nader's group buy pricing does not have to be only for factory orders, right?

Correct -- if you see one in transit, in the lot....etc, the gb is good for those too.

Yep. When you add the $499 "processing fee" that Koons charges on the group buy, the actual marginal discount is about 6% off invoice.

I did about four emails with Nader, talked on the phone with him for all of 10 minutes today to make sure that the OTD numbers are copacetic, put down a $500 credit card deposit, and I will pick up my 2014 Overland on Friday. EZ PZ.

The Overland (black/black, ATG, ORA2, block heater) arrived on their dealer lot yesterday, and now it's (almost) mine.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Pulled the trigger today on a 14 Laredo. Spent the last couple of weeks trying to decide between True Blue (winner) and Max Steel. Nader was great. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. Thanks to BigWave and everyone involved in securing the group buy!
