Re: DC metro area group buy

From what I have seen so far Nader is not the best with email. Have you called and talked to him? I know a few folks expressed some initial concerns over email exchanges but once they actually called things smoothed out considerably.

Your concerns about trade in values however seems to be supported by what I have heard... one reason another dealer might be willing to do better on trade is the smaller discount for the truck.

Also, having the truck you want Saturday vs. 6-8 weeks from now is a HUGE consideration... ;-)

I did and he insisted on the info being in an email. Just erroring on the cautious side I suppose as hitting reply is two less clicks then starting a new chain each time. Add in i specifically asked for it to be a reply...... and you are right, 6 weeks for a vehicle I want that is down the street now is a good chunk of time. Thanks again mate.

Nagle, I had the same worries,...... email Nader, I only dealt with him... he`s a good dude...if you have (as I did) any worries ask for a POC(priced order conformation)... that explain`s everything ....and if you still have questions....you have something to go by.... takes a minute to digest the info....talk to nader...

Did you use JeepGarage Group Buy as our email subject? I know that Nader does not initially get these emails but gets "filtered" to him (happened to me when I initially contacted him an he said he got my email from someone else-edealer person?). But yeah, I would jut call him regarding any issues you have as it would be easier to clarify things out

Re: DC metro area group buy

I know there was some concern expressed about the veracity of the group buy price. I can only speak of my own experience but I just ordered a 2014 Overland from Nader. I sent them an email with my calculation of what the out the door price should be. Nader then said he would take my email and talk to the sales manager and send me their price based on the Group Buy price.
I thought " here it comes" but pleasantly surprised when the otd price Nader sent me was several hundred dollars less than the price that I had calculated and sent Nader.
I called Nader back and gave him a $500 deposit to place the order. He told me that I will receive a tracking number that I can use to track the build of my vehicle.
So far everything is as advertised and I am happy with the deal and appreciative of those that orchestrated the program.
Nader also said that he is working on 8 other group buy deals.

Re: DC metro area group buy

As a newbie I don't want to preempt those that put the program together but since others were nice enough to respond to my first email asking for information about the program I will respond with the particulars of my experience.
I called Nader Mohammadian at Koons Jeep in Tyson's Corner. His number is 571 278 4133. Email is n.mohammadian@koonsauto.com
The deal as confirmed by Nader is dealer cost minus 7 percent plus $499 plus tax, title and license fees.
The quote I received was exactly according to this formula and had no hidden fees.
Nader is a very courteous and friendly fellow with whom I enjoyed dealing. He also offered to pick us up at the metro station if we decide to take the train rather than drive up.
Good luck
As an aside I ran into a friend last evening who was driving his new Challenger. He told me he bought it in Silver Springs, MD for $2,500 less than he could buy it for here in Lynchburg which is about 175 south of DC. Apparently the DC area dealers depend on volume for profits rather than higher markup.

Re: DC metro area group buy

I called chrysler customer incentives group and they said one is on the way. Apparently they send them out randomly based on customers who have signed up for brochures online. They are sent quarterly I was told, so a batch went out in late June.
